AHA BLS Instructor's Renewal

Welcome to the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Renewal Course.

This course is designed for individuals who are currently AHA BLS instructors and are seeking to renew their certification. During the course, instructors will receive a refresher on AHA guidelines and any updates to the curriculum. In addition, instructors must submit a roster to info@cprrus.com that details four classes taught within the last two years of their certification.

It is important to note that if the original Instructor's Essentials are not sent to info@cprrus.com, the instructor will be required to represent the Instructor's Essentials as a requirement to receive an instructor's renewal card.

To ensure that instructors are providing the highest quality of instruction, we recommend recording and submitting a 15-minute video that demonstrates your class introduction, your interaction with students performing hands-on demonstrations, answering questions, remediation, and your ending.  You also have the option to schedule a portion of your renewal with your training coordinator to monitor a live virtual monitoring of your class.

Thank you for choosing the AHA BLS Instructor Renewal Course to renew your certification. We look forward to working with you to continue to improve the quality of CPR education across the country.

AHA PALS & BLS Blended Learning Skills Demonstration

Welcome to our PALS and BLS certification service! Our 2-year AHA certification requires the completion of an online portion before attending the skills session. Upon completion of this service, you will obtain both a PALS and BLS AHA certification.

To obtain the two certifications, only the PALS Heartcode online portion is required. However, please be advised that you will need access to manikins, an AED, and ventilation devices to complete the skills demonstration.

If you work in a hospital, we recommend requesting access to the necessary equipment within the educational department of your employer. Alternatively, you can check with a local fire department in your area to see if they can provide the equipment for your skills demonstration.

In the event that you are unable to access the necessary equipment through free options, we offer equipment rental. If you are outside of a 30-mile radius of our location, you can select our Out-of-State Equipment Rental option for $190. For those within a 30-mile radius of our Ballwin or Westport Plaza location, we offer a Local delivery option for $125. Please allow 3 business days for out-of-state delivery.

Trust us to provide you with the resources and expertise necessary to complete your PALS and BLS certification with ease. Sign up today and get started on your certification journey.
