Course Description:

The HSI Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is an advanced emergency response course for healthcare providers involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest, stroke, and other cardiovascular emergencies. Based on the latest guidelines and clinical algorithms, this course focuses on leadership, team dynamics, and critical thinking in high-pressure environments.

What You Will Learn:

• Management of cardiac arrest, stroke, and peri-arrest conditions

• ECG rhythm interpretation and identification of lethal arrhythmias

• Delivery of effective ventilation and advanced airway management

• Use of manual defibrillators and pacing equipment

• Administration of cardiac medications in emergency scenarios

• Team roles and responsibilities during resuscitation efforts

• Execution of ACLS algorithms for:

  • Pulseless arrest

  • Bradycardia

  • Tachycardia

  • Acute coronary syndromes (ACS)

• Preparation for post-cardiac arrest care
